Nothing like a bit of creativity

So amongst my freelance work and job hunting, I've managed to have some down time in France. It's been my mums birthday so I did her a quick ipad drawing of her Rhodesian Rigdeback Benji, he's getting to be an old man now.
Also as it was Halloween and I hadn't been very creative for a few days I decided to carve my first pumpkin. It's definitely been a few years in fact I don't think I've done it since hitting double figures.
I don't think it's too bad for my first time go as an adult. I might start having a go at whittling.

Long time....

So I know its been a long while, but life has been a little hectic since I graduated from uni. I moved from my little flat in Nottingham, I am no longer able to claim Student Discount and am now taking my first steps onto the career ladder. Currently I am working as a Freelance Designer for Zooble Technologies. Been working on a couple of projects for them. Unfortunately I cannot say some of the clients names just yet.

BUT... Here are some Logos I have designed for my latest client:

I think I've come a long way so far. Also working on two other projects of mine; Burrball and P.O.D.S

Update on Artefact Five

Update on Artefact 5 from Simone Hunt on Vimeo.

Basically the last animation I did was pretty awful, lots of things wrong with it, people expected better of me. (Although that was two weeks of work, so not too bad in the time frame).

Anyway I've been getting some feedback from a friend of mine who used to do a bit in the industry, small animations and stuff. This piece has been re-worked 3 times. Still not 100% happy with the walk and the odd flick, but its not too bad.

I've simplified everything down, concentrating on animating one character and doing that well.

two thirds done, one third left to go.
